We paid extra for a lake view room, and I felt a little cheated. You could technically see the water, but only if you stood in this one specific corner by the window and leaned a bit past the curtain. Otherwise it was mostly tree branches, a chunk of roof, and maybe a tiny sliver of lake in the distance. I even checked at different times of day thinking maybe the light would help, but nope. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they basically shrugged it off. I wouldn’t pay for that room category again.

The hotel itself looked nice, I’ll give them that, but the whole place felt weirdly stiff and unwelcoming. For what they charge, I expected way better. The staff acted like they were either too busy to care or just didn’t want to deal with guests at all, which put me in a bad mood. It’s annoying because the place could’ve been relaxing, but they made it feel cold and uncomfortable.

I had been really looking forward to this spa day all week, so it was disappointing. The massage felt rushed, like they were just trying to get through it, and I left feeling more let down than relaxed. What stuck with me most was the front desk, they didn’t seem to care much when I mentioned it. I walked out feeling kind of sad because I’d hoped it would be a calming little reset

I booked this place mainly because of the beach access, that’s the part that’s sticking with me the most right now. Maybe it feels worse because it’s still fresh, but getting to the beach was way more confusing than I expected. The paths weren’t clearly marked, and trying to figure it out with kids and all our beach stuff was just annoying. I also got different answers from different staff members, which didn’t help. For what we paid, I really thought the beach setup would be easier and more straightforward. I wouldn’t book again if beach access was the main reason.

I booked a lakeview king room, but when we got there they had us down for a standard room on the wrong dates (which was not what I reserved at all). The front desk wasn’t very helpful in sorting it out, so the whole thing ended up being really annoying.

We stayed for one night, and compared to places I’ve booked in the past around this price, the room felt cramped. It was clean enough and fine for a short stay, but there wasn’t much room to move around or even keep our bags out of the way. Overall, it was okay, just not really anything special

The bathroom wasn’t great, the tiles had mold on them and it just felt gross to use.

We went for the winter activities and had a nice time. The ice skating was fun, and the cozy fires were a big hit with the kids. That said, some of the activities felt a little expensive for what they were, and the times weren’t very clear online. I also got the feeling that when I asked about the schedule, nobody really read my message because the response didn’t answer what I was asking. The staff in person was friendly, though. I just wish everything was easier to figure out before booking

The lake area is really and a nice place to relax, but just know it’s kind of OUT there. If you want food, shops, or pretty much anything nearby, you’ll probably have to drive.

The conference room setup was a mess. It felt poorly organized, and the noise made it hard to focus or have a proper conversation. Just a heads-up to anyone planning a meeting here: I’d recommend checking the room in advance or looking for another option if you need a quiet, professional space...

The bar service was slow and the staff came off a bit rude. I waited way too long for just one drink, which was confusing?? Not really the kind of night I was hoping for

I stayed here over the weekend, and my impression was that the room hadn’t really been cleaned with much care before I arrived. There was dust on the tables, hair in the bathroom, and the sheets didn’t feel fresh to me, which made it hard to get comfortable. I mentioned it to the front desk, and they said they’d send someone up, but after that, I didn’t notice much of a difference. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but for me, it wasn’t the level of cleanliness I expected.

We went this past weekend with our kids, and it left a bad impression. It felt awkward having them there, like the staff were annoyed by us from the start. Nothing really seemed set up to make things easier for families, so based on that visit, I probably wouldn’t rush back with kids...

Parking ended up being a real hassle. It was far from where we were staying, and hauling bags back and forth was not fun at all. Who wants to deal with that after traveling?

As someone who’s picky about cleanliness, I noticed housekeeping missed a few small spots here and there. Nothing major, but it made the room feel a little less polished than I’d hoped

We had a disappointing experience with this wedding service. Communication was really slow, and a few things we had clearly talked through seemed to get missed on the actual day. It made everything feel way more stressful than it needed to be, especially when you’re already dealing with wedding nerves. For what we paid, I really thought the support would be more like... I don’t know, just more reliable and present. I wouldn’t book them again for another event...

We booked this place mostly because the amenities looked like the big selling point, so I was really paying attention to that stuff once we got there. For what we paid, it just didn’t feel like the resort experience I had pictured. Even little things stood out, like worn edges on chairs and areas that looked a bit more tired in person than they did in the photos.

The pool area was packed most of the time and didn’t feel relaxing at all. The hot tub was also awkward to use because it was either full or people were hovering around waiting, so it never felt easy to just hop in and unwind. Nothing was terrible exactly, but nothing felt special either, and the whole setup felt a little neglected.
The staff was nice enough and I don’t have any real complaints about them. It’s just that the amenities were the main reason we chose this place, and they didn’t live up to the price. I probably wouldn’t come back unless they update some of the older areas and do a better job managing the crowds.

The check-in experience wasn’t great. The front desk staff came off rude, and everything felt slower than it needed to be. I kept thinking maybe they were just having a long day, but still, it’s the first impression you get, and it kind of set a bad tone for the rest of the visit.

There just wasn’t much for the kids to do. They got bored quickly, and I felt kind of pressured the whole time trying to keep them occupied.
